I am a Postdoctoral Associate in the Visual Cognition Lab at the University at Albany, State University of New York.

My research examines the interaction between lower-level (e.g., oculomotor control, parafoveal processing, visual word identification) and higher-level (e.g., post-lexical integration, working memory, attention) processes during reading.

Current Research Questions:

  • How do disruptions in early visual word recognition impact inference processing?

  • How do the lower-level visual and oculomotor control deficits observed in individuals with schizophrenia impact reading outcomes?

  • How does the presence of visual cues within a text facilitate reading?
